Characterisation of soil phosphorus forms in the soil-plant system using radioisotopic tracer method
نویسندگان
چکیده
Soil incubation and pot experiments were conducted to follow the sorption processes of added phosphorus (P) fertiliser using radioisotope tracer technique. Increasing doses P (40, 80, 160, 320 mg P/kg soil) Chernozem Arenosol incubated for 1, 3, 13 weeks. After incubation, perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) was sown in one group pots, experiment had been continuing another 9 The yield, grass uptake, isotopically exchangeable (PIE), water-soluble (PW), ammonium lactate soluble (PAL) fractions soils measured. On Chernozem, plant PIE, PW PAL significantly less case longest period compared shorter incubations. This suggests a transformation into tightly sorbed form. Arenosol, there only small changes parameters as increased, suggesting intense PW/PIE ratio enhanced with increasing P-doses, ratios higher on Arenosol. caused greater increase than Chernozem. PIE + showed good correlation uptake proving this value can be indicator plant-available phosphorus.

Decontamination Experiment of Plant Soil Using Soil Washing Method
In Korea, there are not detailed analysis data on soil contamination in nuclear power plant(NPP) and suitable treatment criteria of contaminated soils. When the soils of NPP were contaminated, they have been simply collected and kept in radioactive waste building. But contamination of soils in NPP is inevitable and enormous amounts of contaminated soils can be produced during decommissioning. T...

Characterizing the phosphorus forms extracted from soil by the Mehlich III soil test
Phosphorus (P) can limit crop production in many soils, and soil testing is used to guide fertilizer recommendations. The Mehlich III (M3) soil test is widely used in North America, followed by colorimetric analysis for P, or by inductively coupled plasma-based spectrometry (ICP) for P and cations. However, differences have been observed in M3 P concentrations measured by these methods. Using 3...
متن کاملFeedback in the Plant-soil System
■ Abstract Feedback between plants and the soil is frequently invoked on the basis of evidence of mutual effects. Feedback can operate through pathways involving soil physical properties, chemical and biogeochemical properties and processes, and biological properties, including the community composition of the microbiota and soil fauna. For each pathway, we review the mechanistic basis and asse...
متن کاملDoes Soil Disturbance Affect Soil Phosphorus Fractions?
Increased turnover of organic matter as a result of soil disturbance (e.g. by soil tillage) is described in principle, but the direct influence of soil disturbance on soil P turnover especially for organic farming systems has not been sufficiently proven. The objective of the study was to evaluate the short term effect of soil disturbance on different soil P fractions in a soil shaking experime...
